The Priory is the perfect location for an intimate wedding. We specialise in small, intimate weddings which we can accommodate in our beautiful, stone floored restaurant, secluded from the rest of the business. Guests will be greeted with canapés and champagne before the ceremony which can be held in our private licensed garden location or alternatively in one of the 3 local churches (C of E, Methodist and Catholic), each located within a 2 minute walk from The Priory.

Our walled gardens are beautifully landscaped to provide the perfect backdrop for your wedding photography.

Our packages can include catering for both the wedding breakfast, which can accommodate up to 60 guests, and an evening function, which can accommodate up to 100 guests. We can also take care of other details such as flowers, entertainment, photography, fireworks and anything else which you feel might make your special day even more special. Our experienced team will be happy to discuss your plans and give the attention to detail your day deserves.

Our luxury country hotel has 8 stylish and comfortable guest bedrooms for your guest's convenience. Local accommodation providers we recommend include Cleveley Mere and Wyresdale Park as well as many local holiday cottages and hotels.

Within the full garden wedding package, is our 5 star Victorian Stone Gate Lodge, built in the Gothic style in 1856. This delightful 2 bed roomed property can be used as the romantic Bridal Suite as well as being the perfect location for pre-wedding preparation and celebration for the bride and her entourage.
