Restaurant in Scorton, Lancashire

Our popular restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, with two centre piece wood burning fires keeping you cosy and adding to the country restaurant feel. Our professional, friendly and attentive staff will ensure your needs are catered for and you enjoy your time with us. We offer delicious contemporary dishes as well as traditional favourites made by our chef using only fresh ingredients supplied by local farmers and producers.

At The Priory, we are proud of our long history of selecting local produce. Our Farm Assured meats are sourced from Bowland Fells, Pilling Marsh and the Fylde plains where the animals are carefully reared then handpicked by our butcher to ensure only the highest quality and tasty meats end up on our customer's plates. We also have game specials using meat from the local Bowland fells.

We only use local dairy products such as award winning Dewlay cheeses as well as other local cheese from the heart of Lancashire's prime cheese making area. These top quality products give a distinctive flavour, renowned across the land, which we are proud to serve to our customers. As well as our meats and dairy produce, we source all of our vegetables from local suppliers meaning customers can enjoy tasty Pilling March potatoes, beautiful Fylde Coast tomatoes, Ribble Valley leeks, and carrots, Swedes, lettuce and other vegetables from Southport.

Our fish is all sustainably fished to help preserve our favourite species for future generations. We use Fleetwood landed fish from local fishmongers, with occasional specials including Morecambe Bay shrimp and line caught salmon from the River Lune. Our delicious shrimp are seasoned and potted on site by our chef and have quickly become a customer favourite. Other fishy favourites include our breaded Plaice dish and Salmon in anchovy butter.

A visit to The Priory restaurant is a must if you are staying in our hotel or visiting the local area. Our hearty British cuisine together with the charming, cosy, countryside surroundings will make you not want to leave.
